Pinot Noir, Blanc de Noir Ahr Sekt

Location:

The Blanc de Noir grows on light sandy-gravelly soil, partly on alluvial soils. The vineyards are on flat ground and extend to the lower slopes.

Vinification:

These hand-picked Pinot Noir grapes were pressed very gently as whole clusters, producing an almost white juice. Temperature-controlled, cool fermentation gives us great fruitiness and fresh aromas. A "white wine" made from red grapes. It was aged in stainless steel tanks.

Sparkling wine production:

The sparkling wine ferments traditionally in the bottle according to the "Méthode Champenoise". It lies on the lees for approximately 36 months and is regularly riddled. After disgorgement, the sparkling wine is sealed "zero dosage" with a natural cork.

Recommendation:

Recommended as an aperitif, with light fish & meat courses, and fruit desserts.
